The factory is a Halaal manufacturer of pies, biscuits, doughnuts, confectionery and muffins. It also distributes samoosas, rusks and rooti bases. The factory workforce numbers 12. Grandy Pies supplies to cash customers and national catering companies. The delivery area includes the Cape Peninsula, Stellenbosch and Paarl.
Grandy Pies is an Exempted Micro Enterprise for B-BBEE purposes. The company is supervised for Halaal purposes by the Islamic Council of South Africa (Certificate number 1156).
