SKETS Design Studio

At SKETS, we shape spaces that inspire. Based in the Western Cape and Gauteng, our architects and draughtsman bring vision and expertise to every project. We turn ideas into functional and beautiful environments. Partner with us to see your architectural dreams come to life. We focus on creating spaces that meet your needs and exceed your expectations. Let's build something lasting together. The name "SKETS" is inspired by the Afrikaans word for a drawing, which comes from the Greek term schedios, meaning "freehand drawing." Just like a "skets" is a raw, creative expression—a quick visual to capture an idea or spark the beginning of something bigger—our design process at SKETS begins with these first strokes of inspiration. A "skets" is more than a simple drawing; it's the seed of a masterpiece, a way to reflect something the artist envisions or a concept ready to take form. At SKETS, we embrace this idea in every project, turning initial sketches into architectural works of art that grow into the spaces you’ve always dreamed of. At SKETS, we believe in meeting our clients wherever they are – whether that’s in the heart of the Western Cape, the bustling streets of Gauteng, or even from the comfort of your own home. We embrace the flexibility of remote work, conducting most of our meetings and consultations virtually. With a physical footprint in both the Western Cape and Gauteng, we won’t hesitate to travel to any site, anywhere in the country. So, whether you’re in Parys, Free State or 'Parys,' France, our team will be there. After all, great Architecture knows no borders.
