Power-Star

Energy is a major operational line item and reigning in these costs is key to maintaining financial health and competitiveness in any organisation. Power-Star’s energy intelligence solution optimises energy use, indicating when and how energy is used and adjusting usage according to demand management and response – with the bottom line being a much leaner energy bill. However, the Power-Star solution provides more than a metering result. It’s a managed solution with a team of people ensuring reliable energy metrics and immediate response, thus eliminating downtime. With our data we enable clients to make operational decisions on reducing energy spend, qualify efficiency of capital projects according to the rand per watt savings and validate potential for renewable energy projects. Our easy-to-install systems can be deployed in any GSM market. All that’s needed for the meter is a GSM network and a computer and internet connection to access the data. Within minutes of installation, your business will enjoy the benefits of energy awareness. The key differentiator of our energy intelligence solution is the high-definition data produced – recording 1 440 data points per day and delivering every 60 seconds in real-time via web to a standard browser. Importantly, our team of consultants engage with clients to help them understand the data, thus empowering them to plot the company’s energy management objectives.
