Core-Construction

We begin with a consultation and site assessment to understand how you use the space — who cooks, where you prep, whether you prefer baths or quick showers, where the bottlenecks are. From there, we map a practical layout: appliance positions, clearances, work triangle, shower/bath decisions, and storage zones. We flag any structural or service constraints early and plan around them so there are no surprises mid-build. Next comes specification and scheduling. We help select durable, moisture-smart finishes (water-resistant cabinetry carcasses, slip-resistant floor tiles, stain-resistant grout), reliable fittings (quality mixers, concealed toilets, efficient extraction), and lighting that actually works (task lighting for counters and mirrors, ambient for overall comfort). Behind the finishes, we design the essentials: waterproofing with flood testing in showers and wet areas, correct falls to drains, PIRB-compliant plumbing, and electrical upgrades with a valid Electrical CoC. If gas is involved, we work to the relevant standards and certificates as well. On site, we sequence trades to keep things moving — strip-out, services rough-in, waterproofing, tiling/cabinetry, counters, painting, second-fix plumbing/electrical, siliconing, and final snags. We protect adjacent areas, manage dust and noise, and keep a tidy workspace so disruption is kept to a minimum. Before handover, we run through a quality checklist (leak checks, flow tests, appliance tests, extractor performance, door/drawer alignment) and walk the space with you to sort any last details. You’ll also get simple care and maintenance tips to keep everything looking sharp.
